Big Businesses Continue to Beat Us Down (July 28th)
Big businesses have really be clobbering the us lately.
If it isn't Wall Street taking advantage of Main Street, then it is giants like BP Oil polluting the environnment and getting away with a mere slap on the wrist.
Fact is, oil companies in general have survived like cockroaches since they emerged onto the Fortune 100 biggest companies in the world.
No doubt, BP will bounce back quickly. They still have significant presence in Alaska and a lot of other reserves around the world. If they don't grow on their own, they will be acquired.
Either way, they will thrive as long as we, the consumer, rely on petrol to live.
The BP saga is a tragedy for all involved. But I can't feel too sorry for former chief executive Tony Hayward who was rewarded with nearly $20 million in ongoing severance for his contributions.
What we need is a bit of breathing room before the next avalanche of big business problems hits us.
Who is Larry Chao? Here are short video-clips from change seminars he has conducted.
